Ken and Meghan’s Winter Wedding

Filed in Wedding — April 10, 2017

I don’t have the opportunity to officiate as many weddings in January as other months because of our Wisconsin winters.  So what a joy it was to be a part of Meghan and Ken’s beautiful wedding at the Chandelier Ballroom in Hartland.  What a lovely couple and wonderful photos by Ann Gorgen Photography.  If you would like to see more images from this wedding, check out Ann’s link: http://anngorgen.zenfolio.com/blog/2017/1/ken-meghan—january-21st-2017

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
