Dan and Marie’s wedding at Pres House

Filed in Wedding — June 2, 2015

Dan and Marie were such a delightful couple to work with.  I really enjoyed sharing their love story with their guests during the ceremony at Pres House.  (Pres House is a Presbyterian Chapel located on the University of Wisconsin campus library mall.  It is a gorgeous church, has an amazing wedding coordinator (Amy Gile) and I always enjoy officiating weddings there.)

I’m so grateful to Romulo from Ueda Photography for sharing these beautiful images from Dan and Marie’s wedding at Pres House. Be sure to check out this amazing photographer’s work at: www.uedaphotography.com

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
