Kate and Josh wrote this super nice review for Koru on The Knot. Wishing this delightful couple all the best in the years ahead as husband and wife.
"We are so happy that we chose Pat Werk as our officiant. From the moment we started working on our ceremony, to the actual day, Pat has been nothing but helpful and kind. We worked on our ceremony together, and she offered great input and ideas, while maintaining flexibility, allowing us to feel like it was truly ours. We received so many compliments, and we couldn't be happier with how the ceremony went!" Kate and Josh, married on September 15, 2018 at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, Lake Geneva, WI Some of my very favorite people to work with in the wedding business is Sarah and Andrea from Cherry Blossom Events and Amy from One Fine Day Productions. This is the fourth year they have put together a wedding workshop at Camp Wandawega in Elkhorn, WI. Wandawega is a magical place to host this annual event. And Sarah, Andrea, and Amy put so much energy and love in creating the most outstanding sessions with some of the best in the wedding industry. This is my second year of participating and each year I walk away rejuvenated and more balanced, but also energized and excited about Koru Ceremony. Here are a few highlights from the 3-day workshop. I received the sweetest thank you note from Jake and Lauren today:
"Thank you so much for playing such a big role on our wedding day. We felt so comfortable working with you during the entire process. You are such a kind and caring person- looking back on our ceremony we wouldn't have wanted anyone else to officiate our wedding!" In the film “Sleepless in Seattle,” Tom Hanks plays a widowed man (Sam Baldwin) whose son calls a radio talk show (Dr. Marcia Fieldstone) in an attempt to find his dad a new wife.
Dr. Marcia Fieldstone : Tell me what was so special about your wife? Sam Baldwin: It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together, and I knew it. I knew it the first time I touched her. It was like coming home, only to no home I’d ever known. I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew it. It was like magic. His response gets at our motto of “small things often.” On their own, a million tiny little things don’t seem that important, but when you add them all up, they make a big difference. The wind was strong that day, but their love for each other was stronger, as these two spoke of respect, loyalty, and to love each other for all the days of their life together. It was an honor to officiate their wedding and be a part of such a beautiful love story. Congratulation, Sam and Kelli. May you be happy together, in love, forever. Thank you Katie and Sam for writing such a nice review for us on The Knot and Wedding Wire. It was a pleasure being a part of such a special couple's day!
Rev Pat was so amazing to work with! Our ceremony was completely customized to fit us. She is so knowledgeable and made our day go so smoothly. She helped us every step of the way from planning to obtaining the marriage license. Our ceremony was so special to us and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Katie and Sam, married on September 8, 2018 at Pres House, Madison, WI Congratulations to Emily and Ross, who got married this past weekend at the Bridle Barn and Gardens in Mt. Horeb. Such a lovely couple to work with and it was delightful to be able to share their amazing love story during the ceremony.
Ross wrote this extremely kind review for me: Finding the right words to describe Pat and all of the wonderful qualities about her that can fit in one review is a difficult task! She is extremely organized, caring, and loving. The entire process, start to finish, was stress-free because of Pat. And every part of our ceremony was personal to us; nothing was turnkey or cookie-cutter. Pat’s passion is second to none and we couldn’t be happier or more grateful to have shared our day with her. One other sign of support is that several people at our wedding said that Pat married them too; all of which had the same wonderful things to say about her. Anyone that is planning their wedding or know someone else who is would be missing out if not to consider Pat and Koru. |
