Although I am an Episcopalian, I have never been to the chapel at St. John's Northwest Military Academy in Delafield, WI. What a beautiful chapel and what a beautiful couple I married. This is the second wedding this year I worked with Santiago Murillo Photography. We also worked together on Katie and Luke's wedding earlier in the season. That was a beautiful wedding, and I'm blown away by the GORGEOUS photos Santiago took of Kelsey and Drew's wedding at St. John's. He is a fantastic photographer, super professional, and simply a really nice guy to work with. You couldn't go wrong with him capturing your wedding day. Be sure to also check out Santiago's Facebook page, after you've enjoyed these images from Kelsey and Drew's big day.

What a delight to officiate Bob and Kari's wedding on the rooftop of the Madison Museum of Comtemporary Art (MMoCA). I loved working with Bob and Kari and I love these photos Laura Zastrow Photography took of the wedding. It is always a joy to work with great vendors and Laura is one of the best! Seriously, outstanding! One of my favorite places to get married in Madison is at the Madison Children's Museum because it is so unusual and has so much for your guests to do during the reception. If you want to have a fun and magical wedding, you might want to consider the Madison Children's Museum. Ben and Katie rented out the entire building and had their wedding ceremony on the rooftop. Thank you Adam Karl Photography for sharing these images with me. It is always a delight to work with you. Rev. Amy officiated the wedding for Rachel and Tim at Janesville Country Club this past summer. The bride and I have a mutual friend, Jane, so I was disappointed that I wasn't available to officiate Rachel's wedding and was even more disappointed when I saw the photos taken by Je t'aime Photography by Katie J. Fedorski. This wedding looked like a blast. I don't typically post photos from the reception but their Star Wars themed reception looked like so much fun that I couldn't resist. There are some couples you feel a great fondness for while working with them in preparation for their wedding. So I wasn't surprised when I choked up for a moment during Katie and Luke's ceremony. They are the nicest and most beautiful couple and it was a great joy to officiate their wedding. Enjoy a few of the outstanding photos taken by Santiago Murillo Photography of Katie and Luke's first look at Porters Boathouse and Olbrich Gardens, their ceremony at Pres House on the Library Mall and reception at the Memorial Union at the University of Wisconsin. Melissa and Steve's wedding at the Barn at Harvest Moon Pond was so memorable getting married under two enormous weeping willow trees. The bride had an amazing attention to the details in planning their wedding and Kylie Marie Photography did a fabulous job of capturing those details of this beautiful day. I'm always impressed by the creative locations couples find to host their weddings. I had never been to the Aldo Leopold Nature Center but found it to be a wonderful place for a ceremony and reception. Here are a couple of photos by East Elm Photography of Laura and Nick's engagement and wedding. Their laid back and warm personalities fit this location perfectly. It was a joy working with Laura and Nick. Congratulations!
One of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of working with was Gretchen and Joe. They got married this past summer at Tyrol Basin in Mt. Horeb. Gretchen had worked there for many years so it was extra special for them to get married at the top of the hill with a breathtaking vista behind them. But to get 200 guests to the top of the hill via chairlift with the threat of rain was risky. Good thing it only sprinkled and we got through the ceremony before it down poured. Check out these photos by Silver Moon Photography by Tiffany of Gretchen and Joe's engagement and wedding photos. |
