One of the sweetest couples I married this season was Bridgette and Travis on Valentine's Day at Gates of Heaven. I was super impressed that they pulled their wedding together in 1 week.

What a delight to be a part of this wedding. Ross was from Scotland so all the groomsmen wore kilts. Check out Joe and Jen Photography BEAUTIFUL images from this outstanding and memorable wedding at the Madison Club.
I didn't have an opportunity to meet the groom until the rehearsal because Josh is in the Navy and was stationed overseas. But Rachel did a great job of pulling together a beautiful wedding without her groom by her side those 6 months apart.

Check out Karly Jo Photography's blog on Jes and Mark's DIY wedding at Aldo Leopold Nature Center in Black Earth, WI. I couldn't have done a better job myself describing this wedding and this down to earth couple:
"What an amazing wedding location for this pastel, DIY wedding. The Aldo Leopold Center in Black Earth, Wisconsin offers a stunning set of rustic cabins snuggled into a hillside with a beautiful meadow perfect for the ceremony arbor created by Jessica’s Father. Jessica and Mark are the kind of couple who are so relaxed and natural together. They had a beautiful vision to keep their wedding day personal and easy… my kind of people! Jes along with her family, created a DIY wedding that was a pleasure to photograph. Her dress was custom made by her Mother the perfect shade of gray. She created all of the floral arrangements and decor… her family even made a table full of the most delicious pie. It felt personal and intimate each moment of the day. One of the unique highlights from the evening had to be the fun game of ‘wolves vs. villagers’. My husband and I are HUGE board game fanatics so finding another group of kindred spirits at a wedding was perfection! A truly heartfelt celebration." Thank you Tara Draper Photography for these beautiful images from Sarah and Matt's wedding last summer at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art/Fresco rooftop. It was definitely one of my most memorable weddings of the year. In the midst of the ceremony I could see storm clouds moving in and was literally editing parts out of the ceremony to shorten it. (The couple never noticed the difference.) But the timing was perfect. The couple kissed and the wedding party exited down the aisle just has a huge rainstorm began. The guests jumped up and ran for cover. Check out Tara's blog for more photos from this gorgeous wedding.
