A Review by Mary and Chris

Filed in Review, Wedding — July 23, 2019

Thank you Mary and Chris for sharing such a glowing review on Wedding Wire, The Knot, and Google reviews after your wedding on July 13, 2019.  I am so appreciative of your taking the time to share how you felt your experience was working with me and Koru Ceremony. You were such a fantastic couple to work with and I was honored to be a part of your wedding day. I wish you all the best in your life together as husband and wife.

Koru Ceremony will guide you through more than just your wedding ceremony
“Working with Pat Werk for our wedding day was incredible. She was a constant source of guidance for our wedding and went above and beyond what I expected from an officiant. Pat gave us a large packet of decision points for the wedding ceremony that was tremendously helpful and allowed us to make a custom ceremony that was perfect for our wedding day. Pat also gave us guidance on how to get a marriage license and even how to navigate name changes (if you’re into that). Pat really whipped everyone into shape during the rehearsal, which made the wedding ceremony run super smoothly on the actual day.

I think working with Pat from Koru Ceremony was one of the best decisions we made with our wedding planning. I didn’t realize initially how valuable it would be to work with an experienced officiant, and Pat blew away all of my expectations.

Pat is also very quick to respond to emails, which we found to be very comforting while planning our wedding.”

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
