Rachael and Nick

Filed in Wedding — April 20, 2019

What a great start to this year’s wedding season with an amazing couple who got married at the Chorus Public House in Stoughton, WI. It was evident how much Rachael and Nick love and support each other, and how much their family and friends did as well. From my being able sharing their incredible love story with their guests, to acknowledging their parents’ amazing marriages, to writing their own vows, there was such joy and passion in the ceremony. Congratulations, it was an honor to be a part of your day!

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
