Marie Langeteig, one of my officiants, and I worked together on this wedding at Grace Episcopal Church, my home parish for the past 30 years. She was the officiant and I was the wedding coordinator.

Sam and Gina were such a sweet and endearing couple to work with. Their photographer, Jess Curkovic, did a wonderful job of capturing what a delightful couple they were.
After having helped my daughter and son-in-law, Kyra and Mike, pull together a DIY farm wedding two years ago, I know how much work, but really rewarding, it can be. I was extremely impressed with Alex and Julie's wedding on August 23 that was held on Alex's family farm. Just looking through these photos by Ueda Photography you can see the love and effort that went into creating their special wedding day. Even rain beforehand didn't dampen how magical the setting was for their ceremony- an old oak tree in the middle of a corn field with tall sunflowers planted around the edges. I don't typically stay for the reception, but I'm glad I did for this one. They had the coolest band, Blue Light Scene, that was amazing and kept the party going in the barn long after I left. Congratulations Alex and Julie!
