2018 The Knot Best of Weddings Award

Filed in Award — November 16, 2017

Thanks to all the wonderful couples that wrote such sweet, glowing, and heartfelt reviews for us on The Knot this year! Not only did we win The Knot’s 2018 Best of Weddings Award, but we also won the Hall of Fame Award. All three of us, Rev. Amy, Rev. Sarah, and I, truly love working with each and every couple we have the honor of marrying. We are grateful for such a successful wedding season and for the opportunity to work with such amazing couples. Thank you!

(The Best of Weddings Award is given to the top 2% wedding vendors nationwise and the Hall of Fame Award is given to those that have won the Best of Weddings Award four years in a row.)

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
